Forestport (FFT)
Ending at lovely Erwin Park in the village of Boonville, this trail extends over 9 miles to its start in Forestport. A popular destination for joggers, hikers and bikers FFT provides an idyllic setting along its tree-shaded banks for bikers and hikers to observe local history firsthand. Complimenting this experience and providing a more comprehensive understanding would be a visit to the nearby Black River Canal Museum.

Directions: 13354 State Route 12, Boonville, NY 13309
From North:
Route 12 south to Erwin Park on the left side of route 12 at the covered bridge
From South (Utica and points east):
Route 12 north to Erwin Park on the right side of Route 12 at the covered bridge
From South (Rome and points west):
Route 26 north to West Leyden turn right onto Route 294. Take all the way into Boonville and turn left onto Post St. (Route 46). Go to traffic light and turn right onto Schuyler St. stay to the left of the fork in the road and take to Route 12. Turn right onto Route 12 and take to Erwin Park on the left side of Route 12 at covered bridge.
